TWENTYONE PILOTS-LEVEL OF CONCERN
Ah, the pandemic... I remember perfecting my tuna salad one afternoon when I received a call from Jason Zada and Jason Nickel to join a small team in bringing to life a wildly ambitious digital experience and music video for Twentyone Pilots. Little did we know it would ultimately win the Guinness World record for the longest music video ever.

For the first phase we shot remotely between LA and SF - creating a one-of-a-kind 24-hour stream that engaged millions of fans. We seeded them with abstracted codes to unlock digital drives, each containing exclusive content and more puzzles, taking them further down the rabbit hole.
Level of Concern: Never-ending music video
Powered by fans - every time the video looped on YT a new version of the edit was generated
Guinness World Record for the longest music video

We developed a fully functional icon-based alphabet to create hundreds of possible asset combinations - seeding unlock codes that support our puzzle chase. Gaming, experience, and puzzle wizard Steve Peters was part of the crew, developing some seriously mind-bending digital and audio puzzles that seemed never-ending. These puzzles were unlocked by fans giving access to 21 unique drives with exclusive content - teasing phase 2.

Several hundred unique assets were created by myself, Zada, and Matt Petrocci. These assets were then integrated into Imposium's system to serve as visual currency for phase 2: the user-generated never-ending video. A huge shoutout to Matt and Jason NIckel on the integration!
